More suitable cleaning method for valuable handmade Persian and Oriental carpets where natural vegetable dyes have been used. Dry cleaning will prevent the colours running and the fringes being stained.
How do we dry clean?
We vacuum the carpet first with a high powered vacuum cleaner with a rotary brush that lifts the pile of the carpet removing loose and dry matter. All our vacuum machines come standard with the s- class filtration system and carry the British Allergy Foundation seal of approval.
We then apply a carpet cleaning powder which consists of 100ís of micro-sponges which contain safe solvent for greasy soiling, a neutral shampoo for non-greasy soiling and an anti resoilant to delay re-soiling. The powder is brushed into the carpet by a machine which has twin contra-rotating brushes which open the carpet pile and works the environment friendly carpet cleaning powder deep into the pile and around every fibre absorbing soilage leaving the carpet clean, soft and fresh. We then vacuum the powder away with our high powered vacuum cleaners with s- class filtration systems and the carpet is ready for immediate use. The powder has anti-bacterial properties and has been proven to eradicate dust mites, bacteria and fleas.
To meet the S-CLASS standard the filtration system has to remove a minimum of 99.97% of particles of 0.3 microns and above. The S-Class system will remove 100% of particles of 1 micron and above. Dust mite faeces are approx 10 microns. Our Vacuum Cleaners carry the British Allergy Foundation Seal of Approval. The S- Class Filtration System meets the demanding requirements of asthma and allergy sufferers, because fine micron dust particles are firmly retained inside the Vacuum Cleaner and not released into the air. Peace of mind for allergy sufferers. The Method is so efficient that it easily removes pollen and bacteria as well as microscopic dust particle.
